I’d book a flight to see her asap. Lol.
Booked a flight to Singapore an hour later
Compared to my previous trips to Singapore, no plans or itineraries were set beforehand— except for our visit to the S.E.A. Aquarium. Haha. Nonetheless, I love how this trip turned out to be an unforgettable gastronomic experience:
East-meets-west brunch
Singapore has a lot of brunch spots and nice cafes, and one of the most popular ones is PS.Cafe.
PS.Cafe at Ann Siang Hill Park
Their branch at Ann Siang Hill Park has two floors, and it’s reeeally busy during brunch time (duh) so we had to wait for around 20 minutes to be seated. Anyway, the long wait was worth it because we definitely enjoyed the ambiance, service, and food— especially their mee goreng and truffle fries. Haha. This was my first time to dine at a legit brunch place for brunch (lol) and I’d love to do it again!

Melt-in-your-mouth cheese tarts
Japan’s known for great-tasting cheese tarts, but those from BAKE are the best!!! They’re so fluffy, cheesy, milky, and they do melt in your mouth. Lol. So happy they’ve expanded to eight countries already (including Singapore, of course)! Is the Philippines next on their list?

Flower-flavored ice cream
Despite the food spot’s name, Little Hokkaido can only be found in RW Sentosa. They have a lot to offer, but since we were full, we only got to try their soft serve ice cream (from Ohara farm). At first I thought Lavender-flavored ice cream would taste weird, but I was wrong— it was yummy and it had just the right amount of sweetness.

We all know that Marché offers a wide variety of fresh meals, but their Rösti turned out to be my favorite. Their Rösti station probably had the longest queue when we dined there, but falling in line for several minutes wouldn’t be a big deal if you’ll get to munch on some really good stuff afterwards. Lol.

S.E.A. Aquarium
I’m not a fan of animal parks. I dreaded going to animal parks. But after our trip to the S.E.A. Aquarium, I realized that marine animal parks might be an exception. Lol. There are hundreds of thousands of species to see, and it was just so relaxing (despite the crowd) to just stare at their humongous aquariums.
