Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
1/2 garlic, chopped
1/4 onion, chopped
1/2 cup mushroom slices
450g thinly sliced beef
1 cup beef broth *Note
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup cream (35% fat)
Directions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium low heat.
- Sauté garlic, onion, and mushroom, and set aside.
- In the same pan, add beef and turn heat to medium high. Cook until tender.
- Add 3/4 cup broth and let it simmer.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, and stir until it gets incorporated. Turn heat to low.
- Mix flour and 1/4 cup broth in a small bowl.
- Pour flour mixture into the saucepan and stir until sauce slightly thickens. Let it simmer.
- Turn heat to medium low. Add in the sautéed ingredients from Step 2 and stir.
- Add sour cream and heavy cream into the saucepan. Mix everything well, until sauce lightens.
- Season with salt and pepper, continue stirring until desired sauce thickness.
Garnish with parsley, and serve with rice or pasta.

Notes
- No beef broth? Use vegetable broth instead.
