Ingredients
800g chicken stock
• sub: 2 chicken boullion cubes + water2tbsp (30g) olive oil
1/4 garlic, chopped
1/2 large onion, chopped
1tbsp (15g) ginger paste (or thin slices)
1tbsp (15g) fish sauce
[Optional] 100g salad chicken
1/2 cup (135g) uncooked rice
1 chicken boullion cube *Note
Salt to taste
- Toppings
1/4 garlic, chopped & fried (or 1tbsp garlic bits)
2tsp spring onion, chopped
2 boiled eggs
Directions
- Sautée onion, garlic, ginger in olive oil.
- Add fish sauce. Mix well.
- [Optional] Add salad chicken and toss well.
- Add rice. Stir well.
- Add chicken stock and mix well. Bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 40 minutes or until it thickens to desired consistency. Stir from time to time.
- Add boullion cube and mix well. *Note
- Add salt to taste.
- Serve while hot. Top with garlic bits, spring onion, and boiled egg.
Notes
- Skip Step 7 if boullion cubes are to be used as sub for chicken stock.
